Overview
KLIKZEMPIC contains SEMA-GLP1, a long-acting GLP-1 receptor agonist with approximately 94% structural homology to native GLP-1. Each pen contains 8 mg/3 mL (4 doses of 2 mg). Structural modifications, including an amino acid substitution at position 8 and a C18 fatty diacid chain, promote albumin binding and contribute to its extended pharmacokinetic profile. Semaglutide is currently being investigated for its pharmacological properties and receptor activity.
