Overview
V-JARO contains Tirz-GLP2, a dual glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and GLP-1 receptor agonist. Each vial contains 30 mg. Tirz-GLP2, is a 39-amino acid peptide based on the GIP sequence with structural modifications that enable GLP-1 receptor co-activation. A C20 fatty diacid moiety promotes albumin binding, extending its duration of action in pharmacokinetic studies. Tirz-GLP2, is currently being investigated for its pharmacological properties and receptor activity.
